Peixaria GREG operates from the Baleeira Port at Sagres in the Algarve, south-western Portugal. We are one of the very few companies in the Algarve that conforms to European Veterinary norms HACCP.


Internal and external controls are regularly carried out by various bodies, - such as LES (Sanitary Engineering Laboratory) and IPIMAR (Sea and Fishing Research Institute) - , to ensure quality, source, hygiene and food safety.

From our location we source our products directly from the most important fishing in the Algarve - Lagos, Sagres, Portimão - and through the excelent relationships that we have established with auction buyers, elsewhere in Portugal and Spain, we are ideally placed to satisfy the demands and needs of our customers for the very best, fresh products.

All fish must be purchased through the Docapesca, the official organisation that guarantees the freshness of products through the veterinary service and contractually with the fisherman directly.
